Pan IIT Conference October 5–7, 2017
The Bhupat & Jyoti Mehta Family Foundation (MFF) and the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) sponsored the second Pan IIT Biotech Conference October 5–7, 2017. This year’s conference, held in Goa, India, focused on challenges in synthetic biology and cardiovascular diseases. Lecture topics included innovations and technological developments in biotech industries and academia, such as the progress and challenging problems in synthetic biology and cardiovascular disease. Various state and government officials, including Chief Minister of Goa Manohar Parrikar, attended the conference.
The Pan IIT Biotech Conferences bring together faculty and researchers from Indian institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian Institutes of Science and Educational Research (IISERs), and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), as well as members of the international research community and various biotech companies, to discuss innovations in the field of biotechnology.
