MFF Lauded by Academics Discussing the Future of AI and Data Science

In a recent article appearing in Analytics India Magazine, professors Ratnajit Bhattacharjee, Siddhartha Pratim Chakrabarty, and Ashok Singh Sairam from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) discussed the new Mehta Family School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. 

The Mehta Family Foundation (MFF) funded the School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence in collaboration with IIT Guwahati to position students and faculty at the forefront of these rapidly evolving fields and their applications in solving some of India’s most challenging problems, including those relating to healthcare, infrastructure, transportation, geohazard prediction, agriculture, and drinkable water. 

The IIT Guwahati professors praised MFF and its MFF CARE team, comprised of esteemed professors from renowned American universities, for providing strategic advice on infrastructure development, curriculum design, and faculty recruitment; both MFF and MFF CARE will continue to support IIT Guwaharti after the new school launches.
