MFF Provides 100 Laptops to Houston's Elsik High School

The Bhupat & Jyoti Mehta Family Foundation (MFF) donated 100 laptop computers to Houston’s Elsik High School in 2020 to give students a way to participate in distance learning forced by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are truly appreciative of the donation of 100 Chromebooks to our students from the Mehta Family Foundation,” Elsik Principal Tina Etzy said. “This donation will impact the future of our students, and it supports our goal of ensuring students are equipped with the resources and skills needed to develop technological literacy.”

Dee Jones, the Alief Independent School District’s community partnership coordinator, facilitated the donation process from beginning to end. “I would like to take this opportunity to thank the sponsors donating the funding to purchase 100 Chromebook computers to Elsik High School students,” Jones said. “Your wonderful donation will make a real difference in the lives of the recipients.”
